Recently, a close friend asked me a question, and this is my answer

“oh, come on in, just a single drink, you know you want it”
In this western world, we often pass through without much thought.
Waking up from a drunken haze, you realise that you no longer recognise yourself, nor your surroundings.
This is a story I’ve not told very many people. It’s something that for quite a while during my teens affected me greatly.
…whilst drinking.
That is, the beer, not my own pride. I’m not that self-deprecating.
Recently I’ve fallen completely in love with somewhere, somewhere where time is of no object. Somewhere where the clocks don’t tick, and you have all the time in the world.
